Shipping Policy
Maus-Tec LLC, doing business as Maus-Tec Electronics (“Maus-Tec,” “we,” “us,” “our”)
Processing and Shipping
Items ship as soon as they are ready to the address on file when you placed your order. Some items are made to order and require additional processing time; any delay is noted on the product listing.
It is your responsibility to provide a correct shipping address that can receive the items purchased. If an item is returned as undeliverable, you will need to provide a corrected address and cover any fees for redelivery.
Packaging and Insurance
The shipping insurance included on your package is determined by the shipping method selected at checkout. If you would like additional insurance, please contact us before shipping occurs.
We package all items with care to avoid damage during transit. However, we cannot control the reliability of mail carriers.
Shipping Labels and Packaging
All packages are shipped with care to protect your privacy. The sender name will appear as “Maus-Tec” or “Maus-Tec Electronics.” We do not include promotional materials, product imagery, or other content on the exterior of the package that would reveal the nature of the contents.
However, applicable shipping and customs regulations require that packages include accurate product descriptions on shipping labels and customs declarations. We are legally required to comply with these regulations and cannot use vague or misleading descriptions.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that required product descriptions are placed in the least visible location possible (for example, inside the package rather than on the exterior). Unfortunately, there are circumstances beyond our control — such as carrier systems that print descriptions on external labels, or customs officials who place declaration slips face-out on the package — where the product description may be visible.
We understand this is not ideal and we apologize for any inconvenience. This is a regulatory requirement, not a choice, and we are unable to ship products with inaccurate declarations.
International Customers
Maus-Tec LLC is located in the United States of America.
International packages will include proper value declarations and accurate product descriptions on customs labels, as required by law. Maus-Tec will not alter, understate, or falsify customs declarations.
Import Duties, Taxes, and Fees
You may be responsible for paying import duties, taxes, and fees. The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country.
These charges are levied by your country’s customs authority, not by Maus-Tec. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Contact your local customs office for more information.
When customs clearance procedures are required, delivery may be delayed beyond our original estimates.
Countries Where Import Is Prohibited
Some countries prohibit the import of adult products, including but not limited to electronic intimate devices. We will not ship orders to countries where we know or reasonably believe that importing our products is prohibited by law. This includes, but is not limited to, countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, and others with similar restrictions.
If we are unable to ship to your country, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund. It is ultimately your responsibility to verify that importing our products is lawful in your jurisdiction before placing an order.
Regulatory Certifications and Market Access
Some countries and regions require specific product certifications, registrations, or regulatory approvals before products may be legally imported or sold.
For example, electronic products sold in the European Union must comply with a number of EU regulations and directives, including but not limited to:
- General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) — Regulation (EU) 2023/988
- Low Voltage Directive (LVD) — Directive 2014/35/EU
- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive — Directive 2014/30/EU
- Radio Equipment Directive (RED) — Directive 2014/53/EU
- Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) — Directive 2011/65/EU
- CE Marking
These regulations require, among other things, CE marking, technical documentation, conformity assessment, and–for non-EU manufacturers– an authorized representative within the EU.
We are actively working to obtain all required certifications for the markets we serve. However, we will not ship products to any country or region where required certifications, registrations, or regulatory approvals are not yet in place. Shipping products without the proper documentation would violate the law–both ours and yours–and we take these obligations seriously.
We understand this can be frustrating, especially if you are eager to receive a product that is available for sale in other markets. We ask for your patience as we work through the certification process. We want to sell to you, and we are investing the time and resources to do so properly.
